Q. Who is InBrace for?

Q. How is Inbrace different from other braces or Invisalign?
A. The InBrace Smartwires sits behind your teeth, completely hidden from the outside world. The customized Smartwires work with gentle and consistent forces on your teeth for minimally invasive tooth movement. The Smartwires are designed and fabricated using the most advanced technology and science behind, making it different to traditional braces for the most efficient treatment. The forces present all the time with the Smartwires while with Invisalign the forces are only present when they are worn.
Q. Will InBrace affect my speech?
A. Possibly in the beginning. Every individual is different, it can take a few hours to a few weeks to get adjusted but you will and your speech returns to normal.
Q. Does it hurt?
A. No pain but just discomfort from the physical presence of the appliances. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to become comfortable with them.
Q. How soon will I see changes?
A. You will see teeth movement within 2 weeks after the initial Smartwires placement.
Q. How often do I need an appointment?
A. It can vary depending on the condition of malocclusion, stage of the treatment and personal lifestyle but it is typically every 8-10 weeks. The Smartwires will not over work making it possible for longer in-between visit periods.
Q. How do I clean InBrace?
A. You can brush and floss as normally, but we also recommend water flosser for an easier cleaning in-between wires.
Q. Is there any diet restrictions?
A. Just like any other braces, hard and crunchy food can break brackets and wires. Cutting food in smaller sizes and using forks and knives instead of biting into food directly prevent breakage.
Q. Can I drink anything?
A. You can drink anything but keep in mind the Smartwires are heat-activated, meaning when you drink or eat something hot the wires may feel tighter.

A. Yes, like all other orthodontic treatment options, retainers are required to maintain final treatment results.
